Amber Sheppard, General Legal Counsel
BMB is happy to announce we have a lawyer for our group who is licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Amber Sheppard, along with her service dog Tubbs, has extensive experience as general legal counsel for “mom and pop” start-ups, international brands, and nonprofits. Amber, along with her dog Tubbs, has been published over twenty times nationally and regularly presents continuing legal education for other lawyers on business law.
Amber has been named 40 Under 40 and Best Attorney in East St. Tammany by EDGE Magazine four years in a row. She was featured in Sophisticated Woman Magazine as a top Northshore Attorney, writes a bi-monthly column on Working Dog Laws for the publication, and was recently named Best Attorney for East St. Tammany for 2022 by their readers. In 2022 she was awarded a pro bono award by the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association for her free legal work in the community.
